About the Methods Network
Strategy
Within any strategy that is developed for supporting the use of ICT in arts and humanities research, there are three fundamental questions that must be constantly asked:
- What will this enable researchers to do that could not be done before at all?
- Does this enable 'old' research to be done in a significantly new way?
- In what ways does the technology serve the scholarship?
The Methods Network supports activities and publications which showcase the use of advanced ICT in the arts and humanities, and that illustrate these principles. The focus is on the research rather than the technologies.
