Case Studies in Advanced ICT Methods

The Methods Network is developing a series of case studies of individual research and research projects employing advanced ICT methods as an integral part of the research process. Such studies are a regular feature of this website.

These studies form part of the range of information and support materials that the Methods Network provides for the arts and humanities community.

 

Case Study on the STAR (Semantic Technologies for Archaeological Resources) Project

STAR aims to help increase access to the vast mass of archaeological material currently available on the Internet, ranging from structured databases and repositories of digitised materials to ‘grey literature’.
